Icon20 Ex1 36mm vs Sub C No date

Which one should I get between an Ex1 36mm or Sub C No date?

Thank you.

Both are great historical classics. The decision is yours but I give the slight edge to the Sub.

I vote for the Explorer, as it looks great with either business or casual attire.

They're both great. I'm starting to prefer the Explorers now.. Even thinking about selling my Sub C date for one. Can't go wrong with either.

Ex1 36mm vs Sub C No date

Comparisson is odd as size is quite different; why not comparing the Explorer 1 39 mm instead versus the Sub C ND?

I think I like 36mm more than 39mm.

I've had both explorers and the subc. I ended up flipping them all, But if I had to decide I'd pick the Subc. I'd also consider the SDc or 14060

Tough call. I'd give a slight edge to the Sub, but honestly the Explorer is a beauty too.
No wrong answer here

Both great. Exp if you want to be different from everyone else out there. Sub if you want larger watch and an instant classic. Good luck.

If it's going to be your one and only I'd go with the Explorer. Have you tried both on? As said above there's quite a size difference between the two. It'd be much more comparable comparison between the Explorer and a 14060 Submariner.

I would opt for the Explorer purely because it is truly understated.

The Sub looks a bit casual whilst the Explorer can be worn with anything ranging from jeans and T shirt to an evening jacket.

Regards

Mick

My vote would be Sub LV C. Go big or go home if you're going to get a SS sub.
But if subtlety is the name of the game then Exp 36mm.

No wrong choice really.

Both are nice but the 36mm Exp is a classic. Plus it's about a third of the price.

If you find an explorer I 36mm in minty condition, buy it. You always have time to buy de sub C.
