Titanium Black Bay

I need another diver like I need a hole in the head but I love the aesthetic of the black dial Black Bay.

What do you think the possibility of a titanium model would be? That's a watch I would buy. But maybe that puts it too close to the Pelagos (a watch that's a bit too modern for my tastes)?

Not sure you'll see a titanium Black Bay. I like it just the way it is.
By the way, welcome to TRF.

I think the chance is zero as the Pelagos fills the Titanium diver role. The Black Bay is supposed to be a heritage piece so... very similar to original.

Man I would love to see the Black Bay Black with the Pelagos bracelet. I would buy that in a heartbeat. I prefer that auto spring loaded mechanism in the clasp.

Highly doubt that but it would be cool. I predict that you will see something really cool with a BBblu in a few weeks. 🙄. Now if I can only find a red crown tube out of a BBred. 🤔

I think that the color is off enough that it would be noticeable. I have both and can hold them up to each other so we can see.

Don't know??

If I wanted a titanium watch I'd likely go with the Pelagos; I prefer more shine than Ti provides. Wearing my GTC right now and I love the way it sparkles, cpls and all. As others have said, welcome!!!

Thanks for the welcome!

While I understand the different positions of the Black Bay vs. Pelagos, the latter just doesn't do it for me.

Buy a BB and a Pelagos bracelet, it should fit since both are 22mm lug to lug. Somebody here used the Pelagos rubber strap on a Black BB and it looked really cool....

I wouldn't be certain; the bracelet from my GranTour Chrono doesn't fit my GT Date which has a strap. I was slightly disappointed by this. The lug holes don't align.

Plus there's gonna be a color mismatch between the steel case and Ti bracelet.

I think the BB is perfect as it is and much prefer it in SS. The blue bezel model is my personal favourite. I actually like it on all of the strap bracelet options. The last thing I need is a 4th option to drive me crazy too haha
