My New Submariner

So I've been collecting pocket change for the last 6 years and decided to cash it in. I also just got back my Breitling from factory service and with it looking all brand new I was thinking of sort of retiring it. I walked into a shop and got a great deal on an unworn 2013 Submariner. I am proud to finally be part of the esteemed group of Rolex Owners. Honestly, I cant believe I made it. I love this watch.

Looks great! Are you going to keep the bracelet on full-time or are you considering a NATO?

I'll never part with this watch. Funny thing is that for the same price with my Breitling thrown in, I could have came home with a Daytona. It was a tough decision but in the end I couldn't part with my Chronomat. I'm going to keep this watch as is I won't be changing the bracelet. Question, isn't going Nato blasphemy? I'm new to this whole Rolex thing so please bear with me. Lol

I don't think so. It's more functional in some ways, and attracts less attention. It also keeps your bracelet minty when you don't need to be as dressed up. I wear a NATO on all my Rolexes and omegas when working in the military, then swap to bracelet for formal events.

Plus choice is always good!

It really is. Its such a different feeling from buying a Breitling. I need to check my shorts but I think I grew an inch. lol Seriously, I still cant believe its on my wrist.

Welcome to the club!!!

The Ceramic Black Submariner was my first love and even though it has gone to a loving home, I miss it dearly. Great choice!
