I just visited the San Francisco RSC. The service there is great. The lovely young lady who attends the reception desk gave me a quote to service my six years old Sub-C. She said service includes polishing starts at $900. It sounded a bit high to me. Also the service time is 10 weeks.

Is the watch in bad shape?

I always stop in the SF RSC. Giovanni is awesome.

Well, he did tell the OP he was down a few watchmakers...ergo the 10 weeks.

Great story! Giovanni is a cool guy! I dropped off my gmt2 late last year for service and he authenticated a watch for free. I also had a Cartier that stopped working and he opened it up for me that same day and it started working, free of charge. All because he was interested in seeing what the thin eta movement looked like.
