Buying from an AD
Hi
So in the coming months i will be in the market for new Sub. There's a 2 year wait in Australia at the moment. I have a trip to Europe coming up. I will be visiting Dublin, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Prague and Dubrovnik , maybe other cities in Western Europe too but not sure at this stage,so quite a few options as to where to purchase from. Is there is a wait time in Europe or can you just walk in to an AD and buy one? Is it better to buy in one city other another? Thanks in Advance! Marty Ta Marty |

Check Chrono24 and then visit those shops. Didn't see any in Muncih last week and the dealers make it sound like they are hard to get. Come visit the USA, plenty of them here at good discount from members/advertisers.

Since you are travelling in a number of cities, I think it's impossible not to find one. I've ordered mine on 3rd of May, they told me by the end of the month I will get it, however the official time frame for delivery stated by my AD was 6-7 weeks. So if you plan on staying a while in Europe, you can even order it. I prefer ordering than getting from what they had on stock as it has been the toy of so many curios hands :)

Yes, and put a deposit down if you think it's a good AD and your time over here is limited.

I assume you mean a stainless steel model as opposed to gold or two tone? Assuming this, I think you will easily find one in an AD in London, but you'd have to pay full list price. Plenty of ADs to choose from in London, but with the £ being weak, you might very well find a better deal outside the uk.
However, it sounds like your challenge in Aus has been finding one in stock as opposed to getting a few dollars off list price, so if availability is your priority then you should be good in London. The Rolex website has a list of ADs in London, so take a look and maybe call a few of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
