Nice and clean. I wouldn't flip my 111 for one in steel but they are very nice.
After looking at the rose 42mm hand wound 677 I'm really liking it a lot. |

Not sure how I feel about the sizing at 45mm. I'm curious to see it in person because 45mm at that thickness makes me think its gonna look like a pancake in proportion
I do like the 2.3mm drop in the new 1950 cases though. |

I like the design but having only 30M of water resistance is a definite negative.

likes? * the case thinness * movement * satin dial on RG (only) * polished CG dislikes? * 30m water resistance? ABSOLUTE JOKE!! * fake patina/ecru lume on SS * satin dial on SS (will not match with ammo or canvas or many other straps) * regular spring bars * price (!) |

I wish they do a 43mm instead of a 42mm.

That Carbotech is making me seriously consider picking up my first Panerai! Any idea when it's coming out?

I think I remember seeing by September. One thing to keep in mind about the material is that it will gently patina, resulting in an overall slight darkening and blurring of the differences between the layers (meaning it will end up being more uniform in color). Up to you if that's a good thing. |
