Pillows
Considering your neck should be held straight when sleeping I'd recommend a cervical pillow. Got mine at Relax the Back. Best $120 I've ever spent. And we started using a diffuser with lavender....will knock you right out.

Prosom is a prescription only so you'll have to ask for it from your dr. I would concur with the suggestion of giving melatonin a shot first - that works well particularly for us guys in our middle years as it replaces a natural hormone we make less of as we get older that regulates circadian rhythm.

Personally prefer down/feathers to foam. I like to be able to fluff/fold it to the way I want it. Don't care for the bead pillows at all. Sleeping is not a problem I have though, thank goodness. Had insomnia once for a couple of nights years ago when I had stopped taking Vicodin, as directed, after only three days when I broke my collarbone. I've broken stuff since but won't take that stuff, it's nasty. Wouldn't wish insomnia on my worst enemy, it sucked big time.

The new mattress didn't help, hard as a rock, didn't feel like that in the store. Might have to go to the chiropractor today. I need sleep. |
