K, Im bored at work, took some profits, nuthin do do so....

Mexico vs Puerto Rico this Saturday! Undefeated Miguel Cotto vs. hard hitting Antonio Margarito. This is gonna be a very good fight. I think Marg is the underdog, but I think he can pull it off. Cotto is kind of chinny, but he's got sick body punches. Margarito ripped a guys ear open, fight had to be stopped. I think Cotto UD, but my gut says Tony can pull this off.

Well,what can I tell you... I've seen Margarito fighting and he is one hell of a fighter with a lot more experience than Cotto and can punch!
On the other hand you have an inexperience boxer with a punch like a hammer and a lot better puncher than Margarito,it's going to be a decade fight,I'll have to go with Cotto 'cause he's from my hometown of Gurabo,not Caguas

Marg went like 8 years without a loss and the Daniel Santos loss was caused by a butt and he moved to unnatural 154 lb waters. Cotto is hittable and think about the hardest punchers he's faced-Zab, Shane, Corley, Quintanna, no brick fisted fighters. Don't forget 'the Magic Man' Paul Malignaggi. He gave a game effort, but my 1 year old cat punches harder. Miguel yesterday was +210.. I like Marg by stoppage.He's hittable, but h's got a granite chin. This is gonna be a huge upset

I know it's all preference, but how can you not love this sport? Too violent? This is a very silly vague question cause I'm sure some football(soccer) fan can say the same thing and I'd vote I don't give a rats a$$. But when you have a fight like tonight, it really is art (with blood and cuts, etc.) Well worth the $49.99, even though it'll be on for free one week from now.

Our boxing coverage on the UK has dwindled due to Murdoch and his Empire. We can get PPV sometimes but with the time difference it means you could be paying $50 and be long asleep by the time the fight starts.

We get a little fight action, mostly Calzaghe, Hatton. Khan but the real stars of the sport, the americans and south americans get very little publicity in the uk.

The fight game has become a sport for purists only. During it's televised UK heyday in the 80's and the early 90's, the public were fascinated...now the sport and it's stars are fading into public obscurity.

I hear you-I think the Hatton Tszyu fight was 3 or 4 am your time?

Hey MMA is probably the worst thing for boxing. Man in the late 80's early to mid 90s, you had a REAL heavyweight division-Mike, Holy, Bowe, Holmes, Spinks, Lewis, Bruno, even Golota-also up and coming stars in lower weight classes- it really was an exciting time. Now you got DLH, who has one more fight left in him, the best fighter in the world (PBF) is an arrogant a$$hole who just retired at 31 years old, what superstar is left? Manny Pacquiao is all I can think of. Your guys Joe and Ricky, they're near the end of their careers. One of my faves who Calzaghe dismantled, Jeff Lacy announced his retirement @ 31 years old yesterday---what the hell is going on? I'll get off my sopabox--on a sidenote, I'm watching Sportscenter as I'm typing this. This fight 'The Battle' was billed as biggest fight of the summer, maybe year. They gave it a whole 25 seconds
