bezel
Anyone elses bezel arrow seem to not perfectly line up with the minute marks. Mine doesnt seem to sit perfectly at the top and there is some backwards wiggle room in it. It has my OCD going nuts.

SDDS Band Size??
I purchased the Rolex Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA about a year ago. I absolutely love the watch but the one complaint I have is that, in my opinion, the stainless steel band for a 44mm watch should not be the same size as the bands for their standard 40mm watches. To me, it should be a few millimeters wider. With that, my question is does anyone out there know of a source for a larger oyster style stainless steel band that would fit the 44mm Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA?
Thanks! |

40mm watches have a 20mm bracelet; the deepsea has a 21mm bracelet I believe.

If so it's not like Rolex didn't consider it in the design process and made an educated decision right or wrong. Personally I think the Rolex bracelet is quite acceptable all things considered. I find it quite comfortable at all times given the way I wear the watch and the diver extension is still in place. |

I had that concern prior to purchasing and figured I'd go to the RubberB or other strap fairly quickly. Never did. Bracelet grew on me from day one.

I agree, I do think cosmetically the bracelet could be a bit wider, but nevertheless its very comfortable as is.

New DSSD owner
After 2 years and fourth Rolex, have recently settled on DSSD. Weight and thickness is fine (medium build, 5 ft 8 inches tall, 7" wrist (flat)).
Datejust SS black face. Lovely watch but felt bit small. Flipped for... Daytona SS black face. Beautiful chronograph (iconic) but poor legibility. Kept for 2 years then flipped for.... SD4K beautifully balanced sports Rolex. Good legibility and date with no cyclops Just bought DSSD. Prefer size of watch and domed crystal. Slightly magnifies dial so improves readability. For improved fit had diver extension removed and would recommend snug fit because watch is top heavy. Enjoying! |
