Anybody else having issues with IOS 10.0.2?
I updated both my phone and my IPad.... WOW, I wish I hadn't. Battery life has seemingly been halved, bluetooth absolutely sucks, Wifi, internet, it seems more like a step back to me then an "update."
Anyone else? |

I agree on the battery life, definitely seen a decline. iPhone working ok, iPad glitchy all around.

I tried to get out of the apple eco system but got sucked further in with the recent purchase of a MacBook Pro.

Updated my iPhone 6 and they added some funky functions. I wish they would have left the functionality alone. I dislike it!

Since updating my iPhone 6 to 10.0.2, batter is worse, but more importantly, phone is slower, freezes occasionally, and at least one a day reboots itself in the middle of typing an email. Going to make a "genius" apptmt. Anyone else experiencing such issues?

Thread title should be: "Anybody NOT having issues with IOS 10.0.2?"
Version has been out a week, should be a fix by now. |

Rumor has it iOS 10.1 might solve some of the connectivity issues. Mine has had LTE issues since I got it.

My one with 10.1 works like a charm so I guess the problem is not the phone, it's the user my friend.

Anybody else having issues with IOS 10.0.2?
New iPhone 7 (non plus) here. Light years better than my 6s.
Took me a few days to get rid of swipe and it makes so much more sense now that I'm used to it (while using Touch ID) Watched a YouTube video about 50 new IOS10 features and have learned a ton. One thing I don't like: in text messages I can't just copy sections of the text. I have to copy the entire text bubble. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

moved from 15 years as a Blackberry user to iPhone a few months ago and it's brilliant. Latest upgrade even better!!! (Maybe my expectations are low?)

10.0.2 has the FBI secret back door and they are locked in on you. Better grab Anna and get out of there (leave the phone).

Anyone who is having issues, have you tried rebooting the phone since doing the update?
If that hasn’t had any effect, then what about restoring it via iTunes? As long as you have backed up everything on it to your drive or the iCloud, then you could set it up as a new phone, after the restore, and then sync it to get all your data back on it. A bit of a faff, but often resolves things. |

Haven't updated anything yet, was waiting to see if there were any issues, hmmmm. We usually wait a couple weeks after the update comes out before we do anything, think we'll wait a little bit longer...

Similar experiences here. Do not care for the update. Phone keeps freezing up and do not like the new lock system on the finger print button. Have not noticed battery life issue but have not been traveling much and that is where I usually experience battery issues.

Our IT team told us not to update yet.
I hope they work the kinks out quickly.
