My AD got robbed.

I bought an engagement ring, two wedding bands, a Daytona, an Omega and a Hamilton from those guys.

They got robbed in the middle of the day, in the busiest and largest mall in TX.

I sure hope that they will catch those bastards.

That's really bad hope that police will do it's best

Do you think that their inventory was insured?

I's sure that it was!
Especially after another Dallas Ben Bridge located at North Park mall got hit just weeks ago (by the same people probably) and they got away with over 250.000 in watches.

Good grief, it's happening everywhere, thankfully no one was killed. I hope they catch the thieves.

That's crazy. I'm sure they'll be on video though!

My (former) AD was robbed back in '92. One of the owners shot and killed the robber. I had a heck of a time finding the story to share with you guys (Pre-internet) but I found a short description of it here:
http://survivalmonkey.com/survinfo/C...20Citizien.pdf
(Google really is my friend)

The copy reads:
A coordinated armed robbery attempt at a Barrington, R.I., jewelry store backfired when
the robber met an armed citizen. Owner George Gray was on the phone when the armed
man entered. When Gray yelled into the phone for help, the crook fired at him but
missed. Gray then returned fire, killing his attacker. Police said the dead man had a long
police record, adding that Gray acted in self-defense. (The Journal-Bulletin, Providence,
R.I., 09/10/92)

I remember it being in the news as I was already shopping there but info online is pretty scarce.
