Best way to ship a chair?

I'm in preparation to sell some designer chairs on ebay. but I need to know how much it would cost to ship a 50-100 pound chair, and what would be the best carrier to use? UPS Freight, Fed-Ex freight or maybe even the USPS?
or would basic shipping be best?

would it help that I will most likely be sending them one at a time?

any price quotes or suggestions?

All the carriers you mentioned will provide you with an exact quote based on weight and dimensions of the shipping carton.
Welcome to TRF.........but what the hell are you doing with this type of a post on a Rolex fourm?

well was i not expecting that question.
go and ask each carrier for a price and , depending on the value of the chairs make sure that you are covered by insurance for breakages too.

My my, I'm impressed... This is the most serious answer I've read from you in a while, and you've posted it on the silliest thread!

Caution needed

I had the same problem and I decided to use my shrink-ray on the chair so I could post it in an envelope. Unfortunately I had the shrink-ray pointed the wrong way and look what happened.

I didn't manage to ship the chair but it's much cheaper to buy shoes now.

I don't know, man. LTL freight might be cheaper. We've got an outfit near me - name of Love Trucking. PM me for a phone number.

You guys are tough but at least the question was asked in the right forum section..

Best way to ship is by FedEx...

Negotiate with them once they give you a price stating you can get the same or close to the same from UPS and they will probaly match and lower by 10%.

John
