Basel Yactmaster Rhodium vs Chocolate
All - I am looking to purchase either a rhodium dial or TT chocolate dial YM1.
For those of you who have seen both watches in person, which do you like better? Just wondering as I love both. |

It's a tough one, I'm not sold on the brown/bronze bezel so for the chocolate I'd go for the DJ41 and rhodium on the YM.

I tried on the TT YM when I was purchasing my TT GMT on Friday. In a word, WOW! I was absolutely floored by how beautiful the watch was, especially when worn. Don't get me wrong, the rhodium YM is a handsome looking timepiece, but the TT model is simply special.

Neither made me want to flip the sub. The TT YM is more subtle in the metal than in the pictures. In contrast, the rhodium dial YM looks better in the metal than in the pictures. Both are beautiful and money no object I'd have both. They would sit well in any collection as they are so different. If I had to chose between them it would be the rhodium dial for me

In pictures, I like the TT chocolate dial better. In person, the rhodium. With that said, I have the blue (my favorite).
