Thank you, the band stretch was a major factor for me when looking for a DD. I'm glad I was able to find this one.

I sent mine off to Rik about a month ago, how long did it take to service your watch? I hate to bother him with my constant nagging of when it will be done. Mine had to be laser welded as well.

It looks great and from the many pics I assume Rik polished it for you. But it doesn't look polished. Can you tell us if you asked for a polish? A lite polish? Or no polish?

Rik doesn't do the polishing/refinishing. His son does. I would say that yes, his watch was refinished...but OP can confirm. Looks like mine did when it I picked it up from Rik....amazing.

Great watch; the work done by Rik is wonderful. He did a great job on my 16700. Since it is tritium it would likely have needed a new dial and hand had it gone to RSC for service. I didn't realize this until I sent my wife's Tudor Lady Sub to RSC and it cost $1500 for the service because of dial and hands replacement. Regarding the bracelet; he didn't do restoration on it other than cosmetic did he?

Sorry for my deleyed response, busy with work. Thank you everyone for all of the kind comments, i am glad to have it back : ) I'm afraid to wear it again though I feel like it scratches if i look at it the wrong way lol

It took about 6-7 door to door, I let Rik know I wasn't in a huge hurry to get it back. He didn't do any laser welding on mine, just polishing. If he is laser welding yours I can only imagine that will take a bit longer. Trust me it will be well worth the wait. Make sure you post some pics when you get it back, I'm sure it will look fantastic.

I asked Rik to lightly polish it and that's exactly what he did, very happy with how it turned out. Like I mentioned before I am not best with a camera either lol.

No restoration, just asked him to lightly polish it. It doesn't see much wrist time so the bracelet is still it rather good shape
