Is that right. Good to know because I hated the glossy dial.

Although the Diver is very very nice, it's hard to beat a 44mm ROO.

OP, did you decide what to buy? Looking forward to the incoming.

I ordered black/red stitching in August from AP parts in Clearwater, it was $620. They also had some with white stitching.

The ROO 44mm movement is not all in house?

I wouldn't buy another watch because the watch I wanted is not available at the moment. Patience is a virtue.

One will show up at some point for sure.

Nope, the chrono is a module

Exactly, I mean I found a BNIB blue 15300, and would think it is much harder to find than a diver, so at those price points don't compromise, doing so will only result in you flipping the watch later on to get the one you really wanted, thus almost surely loosing money, so wait and get what you really want, not what you can get at this exact moment in time

Great advice. Go on the hunt for a CE Diver. You'll enjoy the search, and when you get it you'll enjoy it much more.

ALWAYS get exactly what you want.

The royal oak I TRULY want is the RG ROO 44mm or the RO openworked double balance. Or the platinum if I want to get really ambitious haha.

Best price I can do on both is 35k which is more than I am willing to pay at the present time.

To be honest the only reason I kinda prefer the diver over the chrono is because it is slightly smaller, its 8k cheaper, and seems to have a stable resale. As far as look, I think the chrono is by far better.

Actually what I'm curious now is how easy is it to scratch the ceramic on either of these watches. I know all the hype about ceramic supposedly not being able to be scratched by anything other that diamonds, but for some reason I don't believe that on watches.

I've seen a thread where someone had a scratch on their ceramic diver that didn't rub off with an eraser or anything else.

My hublot which was all ceramic (while didn't get scratched because I am careful), I've seen others like mine that had tons of scratches. But I've also seen a video of someone taking a key to their ceramic bezel, scratching the hell out of it, then all those marks instantly rubbing off.

Also how easily does ceramic on AP break? If I drop it on the floor will it break?
