Thanks to all the police and first responders!

With tons of chatter about terrorism this NYE, and many lost officers in 2016; I wanted to take a second to say thank you to all the police working to keep us safe this new years!

I've had some pretty nasty experiences during the winter holidays. God Bless the police, fire, EMS and ER personnel that are out there this weekend. Be safe guys.

Most of my New Years Eve shifts went OK. I always dreaded the Thanksgiving holidays at work. Kids were home from college and the drinking and all the problems that went along with it started a couple of days before Thanksgiving, and didn't end until the following Monday.
