I would suggest option two and save the $2K until you can buy a beater. Logically ppl buy a beater first then save up for their gold pieces. Trust me the breitling and panerai won't be your favorite after a couple months. But the blue YG sub would last you a long time. Or you can wear your gold sub daily and use the $2k for a full Service after youve had enough scratches.

I hear you havingagoodtime. Trust it was not wasted. It made me sure that I want to go 18k sub and not shortcut on the two tone blue - which I also really like. I was very close to getting a two tone since it was available. Decided to diversify for now and get the right one when it comes available locally.
