I voted 2 liner, a tad biased as I own a Y serial 2 liner (my 2nd Rolex purchased 1900 quid as I recall - that was a good week), my go to weekend / holiday watch... iconic

You post a great case for the 114060 but the OP is asking for opinions on the 14060 which can be found with either 2 or 4 lines. I like both the 2 and 4 line 14060 but if I was buying I think I'd choose the 2 liner as it feels more "classic" to me. That said, I'd probably choose the 114060 over both for the reasons you posted. one of the greatest watches made in either 4 or 2.
had the 2, now have the 4 and am very happy. (1 caveat is i have swapped my clasp for the updated clasp from the 93250 bracelet, for its captured dive extension) the 5513 pulls off the 2 line best imho

2-liner owner here.
It's a cleaner dial, more classic and goes under the radar. But in the future, I might as well change my mind and change to a 114060... who knows? :) |

I chose the two-liner, and would do so again. Seeing all the great images of the two liners and four liners only confirms my choice: Still think the dial looks cleaner and more balanced with the two lines at bottom. Movement is the same, so don't feel I'm missing anything.

I like both but the 4 has really grown on me since I bought it. Depending on the price and condition, either is a great purchase. Same price and condition, I'd go 4.

I'd have to vote for the two-liner. It's on my list of future buys. I really like the visual symmetry both left/right and top/bottom. The four is great also, but I lean toward the two.

I have both and I voted for the 4-liner because it was in production for only a handful of years (harder to find).
