Does the Mafia still control Sicilian olive oil exports? I think that's how the Godfather got started.

"Leave the gun, take the cannoli." You are right, of course.

An update. I'm back in Arkansas and ordered a bottle from Con'Olio. Their ordering system was a bit wonky, and their pricing is a bit high ($22 for 375 mL), but the oil is pretty good.

The olive groves of the Alto Chianti are quite rightly considered one of the major riches of the area. Despite the climate not being particularly favorable, due to the possibly icy periods, and the little production per plant which is extremely low if compared to other Italian areas which always have been dedicated to olive grove cultivation, this extra-virgin olive oil is considered one of the best Tuscan products.

Greetings, which bottle did you order? I wanted to get a bottle for my mom and dad(dip some pita bread with green zatar for breakfast).

Thanks in advance.

I ordered several, but most were out of stock (MELGAREJO KORONEIKI for example).

This is the one I got: http://www.conolios.com/ultra-premiu...-robust-spain/

They only ship FedEx Ground, so shipping is pricey compared to UPS ($15 from Austin, TX to SE Arkansas).

Wow, I am thankful that we can easily find extra virgin olive oil at the specialty stores in the US... can't image money it will cost every month shipping olive oil to my house!!!
