LOL I thought that's a fact ... but hey sportswatch ... chess is listed as a sport, too.

It is an awesome looking watch. Sporty looking but more at home in the board room with a suit than out in the field.

Am I wrong here?

I should rephrase. Not a tool watch

Ok?

That's a fair point Friedl.

It's not that I'm indiscriminately abusive to my watches, I just like to wear them and not be concerned. For outdoor type activities I'll likely revert to my Pelagos. I've also never knocked a watch into a door, door frame or door knob....yet, knock on wood. I love the slimmer proportions of the Daytona and the fact that it's a dressed up sport watch (IMHO).

I wouldn't say I was scared of the prior Daytona model's bezel, it just seemed / looked like it could get scratched by breathing on it. I'm not obsessive about my watches, even though I can appreciate that I may have come across that way by stating that I didn't pull the trigger on the previous model Daytona, which to be fair, is completely irrational.

Thanks again for your thoughts
