The original black pie-pan dial is all one / single tone black paint.

The letters are all sloppy and they don't even line up evenly....so yeah they BADLY refinished!!! The luminous dots on this dial are touching the hour markers where they SHOULDN'T. On original dial, the luminous dots are on the pie-pan rim part of the dial and so obviously they don't touch the hour markers.
