The blue dialed Sky Dweller will be competing with my BLNR for wrist time.

I've tried in the gold and did not like how top heavy the watch felt.

Maybe the steel will feel different but I believe fit and feel has been among the key issues the sky is a slow seller.

Yes, I think this model needed a sales injection and this SkyD is a smart move.

Its a lot of watch for 13,500
Annual Cal + Second time zone for 13,500 from Rolex is almost too good to be true. The Dial selection is pretty nice too.

Being a complicated TT Rolex, I would think they can be had for a great bargain in the coming years.

I would be pretty unhappy if I paid 45k for a watch that looks like a 13.5k watch though

As of today, that has changed, well hidden on their website though.

Indeed, makes it hard to justify the premium for the YM II, the model with the old hands would have become an instant classic, had they lowered the price of the new one to align with the SkD

Blue dial looks great. Agree that it's a good value too. Price in USD is $14,400.

Got it. Only tt is yg/steel.

The other ss just has wg bezel. Wow. WG sky dweller owners are mad today.

Even if Rolex produced a wg/ss bracelet, it wouldn't be two-toned in appearance

Just about to call my local AD to put me on the list. I want the rubber/gold/ceramic Daytona too but concerned it will be a lot cheaper in grey market.

It's not a TT, it is 904 w/ PCL's and a WG bezel...

The SS Sky-Dweller is insane. It's a toss up between the blue dial and black dial. What a gorgeous watch and I honestly don't think the price is that outrageous for this kind of movement.

Where did you see it for $13,500? Website (as noted above) has it for $14,400 US. Anyone think this will be another SS DaytonaC with long waiting lists?
