BLNR spotted in London
Took a look in Austin Kaye's window after work yesterday and saw they have a BNIB BLNR for £7700. A bit steep for obvious reasons but they're also throwing in a free watch finder and Rolex warranty until Dec 2021. Hopefully this will be of help to our fellow UK members!

Wow, bet it won't be there long. Plenty of people with enough money not to care about a premium on the watch.

Thanks for the heads up but that price is steep like you said.

Considering the one at Chisholm Hunter in Glasgow at £8.995 with no watch winder or extended warranty, this one looks a bit of a bargain

Still chuckle when I think of seeing that in their window last month.

The standard Rolex guarantee has been 5 years since 2015, so that watch should be guaranteed until 2022. It's certainly not "extended".

What made you flip it? I've owned virtually every modern Rolex and done plenty of flipping, however the BLNR will not be flipped. It's a staggeringly good watch. |

I flipped it plus cash towards my smurf over 2 years ago. So, no is the answer I guess. I do not regret buying the smurf at all and wouldn't change anything, but I could have saved money by waiting it turns out. Especially being in the UK where they are hard to find at the moment. It's a great watch and I loved it but wanted the Sub more. I like to think it will be replaced one day, but I spend most of my time looking at other PM models now. The new Oysterflex Daytona for one!! |
