I am buying this watch, however, need a 2nd pair of eyes about its originality, some facts, it is brand new with papers, in box, reputable seller in Maryland.
Thanks

at a glance it look ok but you need to get better pics of the diamond setting, the rehaut and the band markings

Should the TT DATEJUST not have a "-" on the crown like SS? Or is that only the 116233

Good call my friend certainly it was that way for years and is that way by the older charts most of us have. However In the last year I have seen too many with this crown on Mens and woman's Rolexes for them all to be incorrectly installed and pass quality control or as a replacement on a new watch. Likely we are using old charts and these were from solid trusted sellers we all know get straight from ad's.

I have researched this quite a lot for my course.
Seems all TT DATEJUSTS always stamped "-" rather than two dots.
This has always been the case and still is - no one knows why.

I can confirm that the gold datejust is correct with two dots (and always has been).

If you want, I can email you the pages from my course.
Thanks
adam

Ok here are 3 more pictures of the clasp, I cut out the serial # for obvious reasons.

to bet my house on this fact but I also
remember a thread about this change vaguely

Agreed
The photo shows "-" but the video 2 dots.
Now we just need to work out when they reverted back to correct 2 dots

I would surely go with that, certainly after 2007 (final rehaut)

OP watch is after 2015 (green hang tag) so 2 dots is OK?

Thanks your patience
