Boutique Experiences

Looking to buy my first AP and am ready to put a deposit down on a 15202. I wanted to know which one has the best experience. I've heard that boutiques offer a 5 yr warranty and first service included. Also heard that some people have gotten swag and even been invited to events (which I think would be a very cool experience, when spending tens of thousands). I realize a discount may be slim to none ata boutique let alone on this piece. Can anyone shed a light on where might be there best boutique to go?

Thanks for the insights

Not sure it really matters. Are you planning to travel there or just call? I like Miami.

I wouldn't mind planning a trip around it...aka a peace offering for the wife. However I realize if I just have it shipped to me I won't be paying tax. I've only been to the vegas 'boutique' so far fully realizing they're run by Westime and not 'true ap' boutique

Nothing stopping you from going to the boutique, smelling the air, and having an experience trying on a bunch of cool watches then shipping it back to your home.

Either way the wife is likely to do major damage. Bal harbor and 57th/5th/Madison are loaded with high end shopping

Pick your poison!

AP Bal Harbor Boutique in Miami hands down ! Best experience ever

You can look for Francina Pimentel (very knowledgeable and working with AP for many many years) - (305)864 6776

If you want you can mention that Renato referred you to her.

Good luck!

About the tax, if AP has a presence in your state and you buy from an out of state AD and ship it home you will be charged sales tax. For example, NY to California they charge tax, Vegas to NY charge tax.

No AP boutique in my state. Just an AD. Does this still count?

If the AD is owned by Westime I think the boutique will charge tax. Otherwise you should be OK.

DSW has a jumbo on his site. Zero concerns buying from him as many many many people would attest to. I'd give him a call. Otherwise, the Bal Harbour boutique is awesome.

He already sold it the day he got it. I think he just left it on there.

I got my CE diver at the Paris Boutique, but I dealt with the director, no free service but free travel box, and 10 points off, which added to the 15% tax redund was a pretty sweet deal. I dealt with them after when my case cracked, they were great, each time showed me all the coolest watches I wanted to try, so great overall experience
