Yes, you can find rare stuff at airports...

Picked this up from Heathrow T5, they had it in stock, on display. (They also had BLNR and Hulk at the T5 Rolex AD. I'm guessing they had their shipment that day).
Had to pay retail (2800'ish USD) though :(

You lucky man. i guess you were travelling within the EU hence the retail price?

How long ago was this?

Outside the EU, it was retail less VAT, so right at 2200GBP. This was Wednesday.

I have been looking at Watches of Switzerland Heathrow site and was going to reserve it for when I go on holiday in a few months. Lets hope they get another one in!! I have been lucky enough to get my GMT LN from then, they were placing it in the display as I entered the shop

Damn, I had a friend flying through Terminal 5 this morning and asked her to pop into the Rolex store to check for a Hulk or BLNR, however she refused. I was planning to get the watch for another friend of mine who is desperate for his first Rolex. What a missed opportunity.

Normally every Professional Rolex apart from Exp2 is sold within a few hours. So even if she went through this morning, there's almost 0% chance they would've still been there.
So no need to be disappointed :)

I pass through it 2-3 times a month, and I see them a few times a year.

Oh, my bad. I missed the part where you said "Wednesday". I am no longer gutted. I am not even sure my friend is deserving of the watch.
