Both, actually as of today I NOW have both.
FYI - SD43 is fine on my small 6.3 inch wrists. It's great to take to the gym, so at least something is pumped up...LOL.

I have both . It is hard decision but with your wrist size I will choose SD 43.
Great watch and red writing will not be forever.

Buy both and then make you mind up. You surely have the chance to sell any of these with a nice margin.

SD 43! Daytona is really popular and great to look at but just not a fan on the wrist. My wrists are a little smaller than yours and the Daytona wears small IMO and legibility is not great.

I got mine today. It's an amazing watch and has some wrist presence but no where as much as i had feared. It's definitely not too big, even for small 6.5 wrists. If you can, get both as they polar opposites and some variety is good.

The purists love the Daytona, history and scarcity make it the choice for many

But as an all purpose watch, hard to go past the SD50, and would by pick - iconic model, cyclops and homage to the original with the red writing

I passed on the Daytona C in black last summer, it just didn't do anything for me. I must've spent 2 hours with it trying to convince myself it would work. In the end I found it just didn't sing to me, and I guess to be fair, I'm not a chrono guy and find the dial hard to read.

The SD43 was love at first sight.
This will be also my choice- Daytona C too boring and small

If I had to choose between the two it would be the SD.

I vote Daytona.

If I was ever to pick one up, I would probably go white dial. Then I see the black one and I think I would be more than happy to have the black. I guess the answer is to have both.

I tried on the SD43, wears surprisingly well for the size. You can't really go wrong with either and you seem to have the wrist size to pull off either.

I think the Daytona actually measure 38.5 mm but the black bezel makes it look larger. Even with your wrist size I would absolutely go with the Daytona. 116500LN said SD50 is flavor of the month, Daytona is forever. I agree with that, good luck with your choice. Obviously the real answer is to go with the one that you like the most, because you are the one who is going to wear and enjoy it

Personnally I went for the SD43. It ticks all the boxes I look for in a luxury sports watch.

The Daytona in any iteration never did it for me. I can't quite put my finger on it. Is it the smallish case size for a chrono, the tiny sub-dial hands? Not sure but it doesn't deliver the wrist presence I look for in sports Rolex. Maybe if they were to also make it in 42mm on top of the 40mm and perhaps do it a bit more readable. I'm considering a Speedy Racing over the Daytona further down the road.

I voted Daytona C. I think the SD will be more readily available once the initial furor subsides.
