The multi-tiered process involved in the making of the Sixties Iconic dials is fascinating. I think GO really did a beautiful job with both the Sixties Iconic series, as well as the Sixties Iconic Square series. Of the five different pieces featured in the Sixties Iconic series, two had dials imprinted using the original decades-old dies from the archives of the GO dial manufactory (the gray dial featured a water drop effect). Like the other dials in both of the Sixties Iconic series, the brown and green dials pictured above feature a dégradé effect, as well -- gradually shifting the color of the dial to black around the perimeter. |
