Inform the police immediately to get a crime ref number then Rolex and finally your insurance company. Best of luck. |

HI OmegaJJH, i informed the police and insurance company immediately, it was also suggested to post on here though. I have contacted Watches of Switzerland in the UK and have also contacted Rolex directly. Unfortunately I don't ever expect to get the watch back but at least i have tried.
Kind Regards Matt |

Sorry to hear this mate. Pay the £10 and have it registered with the Art Loss Register based in Hatton Gardens. Also, enter the details on Immobilise (Civilian equivalent of the Police lost/stolen register) as well as Safergems/Checkmend. Hope you get it back one day.

Hi Matt, I'm saddened to hear of your loss, I hope it works out for you, and the soundest advice is make every one aware, Rolex, police (home and abroad) and your insurance company.... but I'm sure you've done this prior to posting your thread. All the very best "H"

Very sorry Matt to read of your devasting loss!
But might I ask how it happened? It's always useful to know circumstances for all to gain knowledge on the basis of :- 'Being Prepared'. i.e. I did read in a UK newspaper some time ago of a chap driving an open top car stopping at traffic lights and a person lept over the door, the driver assaulted and his gold Rolex stolen. I do hope your Rolex turns up! |
