Arnold was also way into looking at himself in every mirror he walked in front of not to mention oiling other boys down and getting a shave in. I'll take the 48 and a 12.

It's not just Arnold, but all the top athletes of various sports. Lance Armstrong and Chris Carmichael have a book on nutrition that says the same thing. If you google Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's nutrition schedule, you'll see that he eats similar amounts of protein, but multiple times throughout the day because of his muscle mass. The general rule of thumb for bodybuilders is 1.2 grams of protein per pound of body weight a day.

I take my parents to Hard Rock Tampa quite a few times a year. We do not go overboard-but the food there is top notch.

People like to indulge once in a while. I doubt anyone is eating a big ole steak like that daily, let alone every 2.5 hrs like Arnold, The Rock, or a bodybuilder would.

I'll take the bone-in rib eye please! If you don't mind grabbing the steaks, then I'll go ahead a pick up a couple of potatoes...

But I don't eat steak for the protein, I just like it. Actually I eat what I want, no care for health, but end up choosing a very healthy diet! |
