I'd go with the Hulk. God forbid, you're in a position you don't want to be in on the ground (Viper driver, I presume), you'll have something recognizable to use in potential negotiations. Godspeed, Sir.

Good choice you'll be glad you brought it especially when you get home. I brought my GMT Master 16750, a Resco Patriot and a Casio Pathfinder on a one year deployment to AFG. Once there we had a unit procurement for Marathon GSAR's so I wound up with four watches to rotate from. I wore the 16750 most of the time and left the others locked in my Pelican Case. I never had any issues with theft (although I was in a small tighnight unit) and travelled all over the country. I still wear the 16750 as a work watch and every time I look at it I just smile as it has some amazing stories. Your next dilemma will be trying to figure out what the next watch will be with the deployment scratch. I opted for the Kobold Polar Surveyor. Best of luck and stay safe Brother!

I think the Aerospace is perfect for a deployment.
OK just saw that you went out and got yourself an ExII. Epic.

It adds a cool factor to a difficult situation and reminds us that we are all Brothers In Arms. I really hope it is uneventful and smooth. Wishing you and your family all the strength in the world to get back home safe and sound!! |

Not on a deployment by any means but a "mil-sub" is always a good choice.

Glad you have your G-Shock to take any abuse. For your second watch, I would bring the one that gave me the greatest comfort. For example, if it were me I would bring an old Omega that my father wore when he is was in the Army during the Korean war. Whatever your choice, go with the well wishes of a grateful nation. Thanks and good luck.

I voted for the LV. The Sub is a tank and take the abuse of battle (should you wear it in the field)

I voted LVc. However, I would consider putting it on Rubber B/Everest for the deployment.

Three tours for me. I'd take whichever one that wouldn't bother you to get broken beyond repair.

So far I've had three timezone changes with at least three more to go. This movement makes it a breeze!
