I think it is too tall for your wrist and it looks bulky. A Sub would be right though.

Richard, since you love the watch go for it again. As long as you like to wear large watches it looks fine.

Not at all too big.
Really, really sporty watches- chunky divers in particular- always look great on fit, athletic guy. Especially since you wear it properly, so it doesn't move around and hang down halfway over you hand 👍🏼 You wear it well, get another! |

It looks great and further more is the perfect size! It's always an option to correct a regretted flip.

I just really love the Dblue. But as I said, nobody ever commented on it either way so I thought I’d get unbiased opinion here Quote:
Yes, thank you. |

It’s certainly just a matter of style, although I think it kinda makes you look smaller than you probably are.

Looks great on you.
It's all about contrast nowadays. Small to medium wrists rocking big watches. I dismissed it as a trend at first, but that was four years ago, so I think it's become the new normal. On you though, why you even asking? If I had arms like yours, I would be looking for watch diameters 44mm and bigger. Go for it. |

Of course tastes vary, but maybe the question is, what does the size telegraph? Large watches can tend to indicate that the owner wants the watch--and perhaps themselves--to be noticed. Depending on your personal style, that could possibly read as affectatious or completely normal. There might be a security consideration in having a well-known watch like a Rolex Sea Dweller so front and center.
I’m not you, but I see that watch as looking too large and too thick to integrate well with your wrist. I think it might be more elegant to go with something thinner and smaller. |

Too large for the wrist. Please remember that a watch looks larger from observers point-of-view than your own point-of-view. Even though you have shot images via the mirror, the watch will look larger (via other peoples eyes) than you think.
It's the same with all my 40mm Rolex. People at work having wrist size larger than myself - the same 40mm Rolex watches looks always bigger on their wrist than mine - because the angle of observation is different. Just saying. |

It is a big, heavy watch and I think I would feel hampered by having to wear it around the whole day. No matter how comfortable people say it is, it is still big and heavy. I would constantly bang it into anything, rip clothing etc. Compared to my Explorer it would be like sneaker vs. army boots. Still it does look ok on you, it’s big but not crazy big.

I have tried the DSSD on my wrist at the ad I bought my SD4K.
Really shocked at how much bigger 4 mm looks and feels. For me it was way too big, on pictures it looks good on you though. Love the clasp on it, really dissapointed it's not on the Sea Dweller...

The D Blue is supposed to wear large, so nothing to worry about. It’s a true tool watch
