1061 service - "required dial replacement"

Purchased a blue dial 1061 (1969 vintage) earlier this year, and needs work BC of tube (threads). Took to AD and just heard back Rolex "requiring":

1. Tube and crown (that's fine)
2. Hands & dial (they said there was some moisture which damaged the hands and dial...but I have to say I saw none though obviously the lume was long ago dead.

-now, I fought this battle before (and won) on my 5513 dial and hands. Just wondering since the 1061 isn't as collectible/valuable as some SS models like my daytona and sub if I should hold fast on rejecting the hands and dial replacement - or if the newly lumed service parts would be OK

Opinions?

If you think the dial and hands are fine, don’t do it. Lots of independent watch makers can sort out the tube and crown.
