I drink high strength filter coffee every day, and have done for years,

I believe its good for me, aswell as tasting great,

I never could understand the point of de-caf, its like going in a pub and buying a coke.

these health stories are a fixation in the uk aswell, we once had successive governments wage a 20 year campaign, telling us that eggs were the devil if you had too many,
I actually listened at the time (being young and gullible) and restricted my egg intake,
fast forward to a couple of years ago and its now eat as many as you like,

My take on food and health is that, all decent fresh food is good for you whatever it is, just keep your weight down, don't smoke, and get plenty of exercise, that's all you need to do, and drink plenty of beer, preferably guinness .

Mmmm Guinness - a steak and chips in every pint.
Love the stuff but unfortunately it doesn't like me.
