DavidSW Package from NEW YORK?

Hi all, I just ordered a Watch from David SW, when I checked the FedEx, it's said picked from NY, New York .

This is my first time buying from him, so I do have my concerns. When David has his establishment at Florida, why would I get the package from New York? I had asked him to get the bracelets brushed, do you think probably he sent the item somewhere else to get the bracelet brushed?, I just want to make sure that it's coming from Florida and not a third party person other than David.

Please put your thoughts.

I think the best bet would be to contact him (email, text, etc) and ask about it. He "sent" the package and he'll likely have your answer.

DavidSW Package from NEW YORK?

Totally normal. Don’t have any fears dealing with David. He is 100% top notch. Sometimes a new watch bought through a trusted seller here ships from the AD and not David. I’ve bought watches from Takuya and they’ve shipped from other places. Relax and await your new watch!

I’m sure it’s fine but every watch I’ve purchased from David has shipped from Florida. Although, I’ve only had about five translation with DAvidSW. You should contact him and confirm. Congrats on the new watch.

DavidSW Package from NEW YORK?

My thoughts are it is way too premature for you to start a thread questioning DavidSW. These are questions you should have asked him first. Not TRF......

Being new to the whole Rolex thing has a learning curve.

That shouldn't happen, 'trusted seller' or not.

This is not a “Rolex thing.” This is a business thing. Replace “Rolex” with any luxury item of your choice. OP should have contacted the seller first. And not an open forum.

Hi, this is in no way in offense to David. I respect him and I think I have the right to know about the product I purchased as a customer. This is my first time buying from him and I hope you understand me.

It's possible that there was no listing to begin with.

For example, the OP reaches out to David and asks if he (David) can get a watch for him. David says yes, deals with one of his AD contacts and has the watch shipped directly to the OP.

Just a thought.

Anyway, OP, I am sure there is nothing to worry about. David is one of the best.

Yep, if you look again, I was just responding to this line: Sometimes a new watch bought through a trusted seller here ships from the AD

This is what I was referring to in a thread a couple days ago only along the lines of warranty cards. The best of the best (greys) are in bed with Ad’s all over the states and if they don’t psychically have a model in their possession, I am sure all it takes is a phone call. I doubt if my observation is wrong.

You have the right to know about the product you purchased. Absolutely right. But you should have called David and asked him. Not us. So no I don’t understand. If communication from David was subpar then start a thread. But I know the communication would not be subpar having purchased from David myself. And going to David after only having purchased through an AD you better believe I had questions. And had questions throughout the whole process. His communication was excellent. But what I did not do was start a thread asking TRF my questions.

I had reached out to the seller who I had many transactions with and requested a new watch. It was NOT listed on TRF for sale nor had it ever been. I requested it be shipped directly to me as I was impatient to receive it. There was full disclosure to both parties. I apologize for any confusion. This was in no way meant to tarnish or break any TRF rules. To the OP-I have had many flawless transactions with David myself. I suggest you reach out to him and make an inquiry. Once again my apologies for any confusion.

Ok, but when you said "sometimes" that sounded like more than once.

And no, of course you haven't broken any rules yourself. No worries there.

I bought a watch from David outside of TRF and it shipped from Long Island. No worries, I’m sure your watch is coming from one of his sources up there.

I’ve bought 3 AD and 1 trusted seller and while my transaction with DaviSW was flawless, I will no do another Grey purchase.
1) I get a kick,treatment and 100% peace of mind from AD.
2)when I walk out the AD’s shop i know everything is legit with Rolex USA and Rolex SA.
3) I HATe the fact that all these greys are not forthcoming about your watch and how they obtained it. For all you greys, just come outta the closet with your stupid secrets.

Hi Guys,
The OP Purchased a watch from my website and requested the bracelet be brushed. The one on my site was dated a few months ago. I had another sent with a more recent purchase date. It was drop shipped from a regular supplier of mine. I emailed the OP also just now

A mail to David would have sorted this out, not a thread. David is really fast in getting back to you.

It’s obvious this was came to the op’s mind first. Let’s not make him feel like he did anything wrong.
