Star Sapphire>>>

I recently bought this ring at a local Mom and Pop jeweler (not an AD for any watches). He got the genuine SS from the Tucson Gem Show and make the setting himself from Stuller X1 WG alloyed with Palladium, so no Rhodium plating is needed, much like Rolex WG.

It appraised for 2x what I paid and has quite sharp asterism, not shown well in my stinky photos...Anyway, I think it's unique and it goes well with my DJ41 MOP diamond dial.

I don’t wear any jewelry other than a watch personally but that is an awesome stone.

Thanks! You maybe can see the small dark spot on the left of the stone. That, according to the jeweler, prevents it from being really pricy. The star really is nice though!

Star gems are amazing. The exclusivity is in the imperfections which allow the star to appear when the gem is formed into a cabochon— antithesis to the diamond lol.

Congratulations on an exquisite piece! :)
