Rolex Singer Prototype Daytonas
Hello all - does anyone know how many Rolex Singer Prototype Daytonas were actually produced, Non-Newman? I have tried researching but have only seen descriptions like "very rare" or "unique" and that could mean 1, 10, 100, 1000 etc.
Any info would be appreciated. |

Well.. If prototypes I’d guess they are pretty unique. Without really having any info on the topic I think most prototype dialed watches from this era are put together later. The dials were available in catalogues and some seem to have figured a way into watches. I doubt Rolex ever released any complete watches with prototype dials.

i guess the answer could be anywhere from 0 to dozens or hundreds depending on whether you are asking about a "prototype" produced by Singer or a factory in Vietnam.
