Help me decide- Rolex ND Sub (114060) or Rolex SD50 (126600)

Out of these 2 beauties, which one should be my next Rolex? :)

They look so similar, yet seem so different! I have small wrists relatively speaking, so I feel that the 114060 would suit me better from a size perspective. But on the other hand, the SD50 is a beauty too!

I personally would go with 114060. Super clean watch and I like the size. 126600 is too big for my taste although still a great piece. Can't go wrong with either honestly.

I'm a 114060 man myself. Elegant, versatile, an no issue fitting under a cuff.

Well only one is in focus so subconsciously you've already made your choice, Jung might say.

I like the 114060. It’s clean and fits perfectly. Only draw back in no date.

How small is "small"? Post a couple more pics with the watches on the wrist.

The Sub is a 'safe' choice. No can fault you for getting a Sub, it could be argued that every Rolex fan should have one.

The SD43 is the Best Rolex Diver. Ever. Something to think about!

The sub is the only watch a man needs. I owned the SD43 and it felt so heavy and big after a while that I couldn’t wait to sell it and get my Sub back.

If I was voting I’d say SD. But either will do just fine!

For smaller wrists the 114060 is better imho.

A Sub ND would be the ticket if you already have doubts about the size. The SD43/50 might look okay from the top, but it has a pretty thick case for a smaller wrist. The Submariner is an iconic, clean and comfortable design. I guess make sure you won't miss a date function. Good luck. Cheers!

If you got the wrists for it, I’d go for the SD43. Both are awesome though.

For a small wrist, the sub for sure. I have an pretty average size 7.5" wrist and the sub is just right.

There is no "right" answer, as both are really great references. Maybe have it depend on what else is in your collection? Is it for 7 days/week or rotation or weekend duty?

I love my Sub and with smaller wrists, I think it is the better choice. Classic and iconic sizing with the modern additions such as ceramic bezel and glide lock bracelet, it works really well as a modern classic.

As others have said, if you can get the SD50 at retail, might be worth buying to see whether or not you like it. If you don’t, then you should be able to get your money back if not a little more and then get the Sub.

For a daily beater it's a very difficult choice to make. I would incline to a Sd43 but it depends on how it fits your wrist.

Hard to say without seeing them on you - but in general, I love the size of the SD43

You say the size of the 114060 would suit you better. Try the two of them on and decide. Both are fantastic watches regardless.
