looks awesome. I clearly wouldn't know where to start with a bike you have to order in parts.

Wow, pretty cool! I can kind of see why they're often considered the Ferrari of cycles.

Don't take it as an affront to Shimano, it's good solid stuff. It's just not Campy. Don't get me started in SRAM. XTR, on the other hand, is the gold standard, nothing's better. Now....Campy wheels are about bling, and I wouldn't endorse them as being any better than many others in the market. You've treated yourself this far, finish it! And. It's importantly, be safe out there on the road. |

Mmm, lugged carbon fiber! Gorgeous frame, I’m kind of agreeing with some others here. Go with the Campagnolo groupset. I have Campy 9 speed one one of my bikes and Campy 10 speed on another. All Chorus on both. It is good stuff and has been bulletproof for many years and thousands of miles. Make sure to use a Campy chain with it though.
Unless you’re racing you aren’t going to gain any measurable advantage by going with Shimano or SRAM. Ultimately, it just comes down to personal preference. |

Indeed, mechanical watches are mens jewelry nothing to do with its functionality however a roadbike is a sport equipment where gimmicks, design and shiny stickers are not important just performance .

Road bikes are mere jewelry to many that own them. I'm sure you know the type.

I don't care for wacky lacing or proprietary spokes either. I like Reynolds Attack and Assault for a few reasons. Carbon. Clincher. Tubeless. I also have light sets of Stan's Alpha 340 and American Classic Sprint 350, but I'm only 150 lbs and wouldn't trust them if you're any heavier than that. I have no blind loyalty to Campy, which is why I wouldn't endorse their wheels.
