SD43 On Scene
Wow, you guys were right. This might be the perfect watch.
Size? Perfect. Dial? Perfect. Glidelock? Brilliant. Bezel? Perfect. I traded an Explorer 214270 and a Sea Dweller 16600 plus cash for the SD43. Recently both those just felt too small, and I realized how much I use the date function so I rarely wore either. I’m trilled, best decision ever. For reference, my wrist is about 6.75”, and it wears more like a 41mm imo. Photo with a PAM1312 and DJII 116334. Thanks to Davidsw, a true gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. What’s next? Big Pilot maybe. Or a Chrono...IWC Pilot Chrono or Speedy. Maybe a DaytonaC if prices ever come back to earth. |

Congrats! And I like dealing with David also but going to have to wait for the price to get at least to MSRP before I add that one to my collection.

I don’t blame you. If I had paid retail, it would have been about $12,500. I paid a little more than that, but I’m perfectly ok with it. The alternative was holding on to two watches I wasn’t wearing and lusting after the classifieds lol.

Awesome! Looks great on you. My wrist is nearly the exact same size and I agree that it wears smaller. Would you possibly do me an enormous favor and post a similar wrist shot wearing your Panerai? I think that’s next for me and would love to see how the 44mm fits.

Well done, looks great on you.
I’ve been saying that it wears smaller from day one ... glad someone picked up on that |

That SD43 really looks amazing. I am excited to see one in person. Will try to find one this weekend here in L.A.

SD43 On Scene
Congrats on the SD43!! I have one arriving tomorrow and I can’t wait to get it and throw it on the wrist. I also got mine from DavidSW, can’t say enough good things about dealing with him...I traded in my 114060 for the SD43.
