Favorite modern Daytona

I know this topic has been beaten to death regarding the stainless pieces, black v. white and everyone has their favorites....

But....let's expand this poll a bit to include PM Daytonas. There are a number of new PM Daytonas in the last couple years that have been causing quite a stir, the Oysterflex models in particular seem to be very popular.

If you could only have ONE modern Daytona, which would it be and why?

I’m in awe of the White DaytonaC every time I put it on. I’m sure I’d feel similar with a PM, which I’ve never owned. But currently I’m picking this bad boy.

Unfortunately I don't yet have a Daytona, but if funds allow, I think this would be the one...

Several choices not on your poll...

Two "notables" missing for me: The YG so-called Paul Newman black with champagne counters, and the WG 509 with steel dial and black counters.

For what the SS Daytona’s are selling for in gray market, WG Daytona/steel dial seems like a no-brainer to me..

It’s just so beautiful

Obviously, the platona is the king of them all

Platinum Daytona or a cream 116520 are the best

Agreed there's a lot missing. The polls are limited to 10 watches and I put in 8. Couldn't include everything, so I tried to include what seems to be most popular as of late.

The blue dial WG was likewise my favorite until the WG on oysterflex was introduced. You can't go wrong with either.

Here are some pics of all of the new Daytonas from a Basel 2016 release as well as the one I ultimately chose to go with...

At 1/3 of the platona's price I have to agree. That yellow/black is sexy AF!
