Go to any of these ADs’ websites and click on, for example, the Datejust. They do not show all of the bezel/dial/bracelet combinations that are available. Instead, they show one or two representative examples for each material type (SS, TT YG, TT RG, YG, RG, etc). The ADs’ sites do not, and never have, included the entire universe of available Rolex watches. You cannot go to an AD website and assume that a watch has been discontinued because you can’t find it on that website.

I agree, just like you can't go to the Rolex website and assume that a watch has not been discontinued just because you can still find it there. But when the AD's pics correlate to the new catalog, that's something else again.

FWIW, Govberg is showing a complete selection of Submariners.

my take on this is the blnr will be gone, either totally or by a new case/movement 126710blnr.
manufacturers don’t typically keep a ton of inventory especially for ‘fast moving’ parts.
so the switch over can happen very soon, and my assumption is it will happen, and in the next 1-3mths.

"Apparently GMTs" based on what? That's my point: the selection of GMTs on the AD sites is matching what the new catalog shows as the available selection, which for some reason you keep overlooking. If the catalog showed all nine that are still on the Rolex website, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now.

Yes, however no one has compared the Basel catalogue with other reference known availability just GMTs.

So er don’t know if there are other omissions (yet)

This thread shows the price list for all the professional models, which was included with the new catalog. I haven't gone over it with a fine-toothed comb, but no other significant discontinuations are jumping out at me, having looked it over a couple times.

If people read all the reply’s on this post they would See why we think the BLNR and LN is gone the main reason is the new price list matches the current stock on the local Rolex AD sites 6 GMT’s listed in the price list 6 pics on the local Rolex AD site a perfect match
attached
Hope this helps
The information is there too see
Rolex maybe keeping it quiet as they want to clear any remaining stock
Maybe they are fully committed to working with the new case and movement and colours. To try and keep up with demand for the new Pepsi ss

Whoa...six pictures...six models listed in the price list. It's almost like they match, or something.

I looked it over and agree with the below post; no LN, no BLNR is shown on the list. Don't need a very fine tooth comb to see that.

According to the price list, the cheapest GMT with an oyster bracelet will be the TT CHNR. The cheapest GMT will be the SS BLRO and it will only come with a Jubilee bracelet. Looks like they're no longer producing the old movement and anything other than old stock will be in the new movement which makes sense.

Do you need a Basel announcement for something like this to happen?
The DJ41 got new dials in the year after its release, so there is precedent for quiet updates. Obviously that's not the same scenario, though, and like you, I don't have much in the way of firsthand recollections to draw on. If the BLNR were to get replaced with a newer one, that would be, at a minimum, a case and movement update, and possibly a bracelet, too, depending on whether or not all SS GMTs will be on Jubilee from here on out. That's a considerably bigger change than just adding a dial to a new line. It's the kind of thing I would expect Role to trumpet at Basel, but I suppose it's possible they would quietly do it mid-year. They're setting new precedents all the time, so there's little I would rule out.

Lee, new 116719BLRO, 116713, 116718 are still in production and on the old movement.

I said no other discontinuations...as in, other than the BLNR and LN (and possibly green-dial YG).

It certainly seems to, although there is still that bit about the BLNR being showcased in the main display. Is it certain that the catalog distributed at Basel will be the same one provided to ADs, without changes?

Jajajaja Crazy Fakes news

The BLNR and LN are still there and would be there for years to come.

As Rolex mentioned at Baselworld - the BLNR and Pepsi will live next each other for many years to come...

100%, they have already copied thousands of catalogs . Rolex always print 1 catalog per year so no doubts that it will be distributed to all ADs too

Thanks. Is there a way we can explain why all nine GMTs were shown in the display? I'm not arguing with you; I'm just trying to make sense of the information we have.

Maybe keeping it quiet lots of people don’t want to buy anything that’s discontinuing. They still have stock too move on
Apart from collectors who understand the significance of them disappearing
A lot of non watch people wouldn’t want a to buy something that’s not up to date

Please, stop creating rumors;
Just go to Rolex.de or Rolex.ch

And you will see the BLNR in the website and you can place a order without issues.

People shall stop believing rumors coming from Grey dealers.

If you know Rolex, you know they will never never discontinued a watch without making it official... they are profesional.

Yeah, that was weird. Even in the revised version, he still says it's likely to be discontinued or updated, but gives no explanation for why he thinks that (or thought it was discontinued in the first place). Watch journalism at its finest.

Really? Rolex unveiled direct online purchasing at Basel? Now that's news.
