Cant seem to be able to get the bezel to allign with the 12 o’ clock point
Any thoughts

Is there any wiggle room in-between clicks? I’ve owned subs before where to get it to align perfect it needed a tiny twist after the click. Just a hair and it would align.

Yes but then the 15 and 45 minute lines will not allingn with the bezel 15/45

Mine has 1/2 clicks and a slight wiggle that allows me to hit the 12 o'clock

That’s a QC issue. I would want it adjusted. That’s why I prefer the older aluminum bezels, as you can adjust the alignment yourself with a simple 2-minute DIY procedure. I did it on my 14060M.

It doesn’t look off to me, but I’m also factoring in a little parallax forgiveness given the picture isn’t taken straight on. This type of issue is ultimately a personal one. I wouldn’t bother having the watch worked on (and risk a new problem being introduced) for something so minor. But what’s minor to me may be significant to you...

Bezel alignment (or misalignment) on the ceramic subs has been a topic I’ve seen discussed on forums and YouTube more than a few times. It’s not extremely uncommon to see a slight misaligned bezel insert. Is it a warranty issue? I saw one video where a guy had his fixed by the RSC, but it took multiple tries to get it done right. If you live nearby a RSC and can walk in, give it a shot. If you’re going to be mailing it in, it might takes months and multiple trips to get it right.

I guess small things give the watch a personality
But it does not justify the fact that Rolex is not doing a proper job
Because once I take into consideration the watch is not keeping 48 hrs reserve plus now the allignment , I start fallng out of love with them very quick once I remember the price

I have the same issue on my 2017 Sub LV. It does bother me, but not enough to send it back for repair under warranty. The prospect of 3 months (or whatever) without my watch as well as the risk that they still might get it wrong (as someone said above) puts me off.

However, it does bug me that a Rolex would have such a flaw. Especially as my Black Bay aligns perfectly. It seems like something they just should not be getting wrong.

This looks perfect to me. The inserts are machine made so if it’s aligned at 12 it’s aligned at the 15 and 45 too. What you’re seeing is the effect of parallax. Also, close one eye when you look.

Yours is exactly like mine. If I rotate it clockwise the 12 is a little before the mark like your first pic. However I find that if I just naturally spin it and stop on 12 it’s right on. Which makes me think this is how it’s supposed to be. But during the day it can drift forward or back slightly. Just the nature of how the Mechanism is designed with some float between the clicks.

Used to drive me crazy on my 16710. It was right in between two clicks and my OCD made me sort of balance it between the two clicks and hope it would stay there for an extended time.

Got lucky on both my SD43 and Black Bay - both lined up perfectly (whew!)

On the 16710, you could have fixed it yourself in about 90 seconds. Very easy diy fix.

Yeah I know, remove the bezel and shift the insert slightly. I was scared to death I would scratch the watch so I never pulled the bezel.

I had a similar problem with my last 114060. It drove me nuts so I ended up sending it to RSC Dallas. They adjusted it (under warranty). I know, ocd, can't help it.

I had the RSC align my bezel on my DSSD while I waited under warranty. Have the RSC align it for you.

Sorry friend, same here on my TT sub. Brought back to AD, better now, but still not centered, no matter what i do. (Also 45/markings off). Its heavy shit that QC by Rolex is up not best standard and also service server did their job about 50% max..
I have 5 warranty so maybe i ll try another shot again later..

I brought my LVC in for another issue, and mentioned the misalignment while I was there. I was told it shouldn't be like that and they fixed it under warranty.
