With so much talk about leaving the stickers on watches (and equivalent bs) in these forums, let's see who's man enough to own up to this one. Please post pictures of your battle scars. I'll start. Almost 10 years daily on the wrist with my 116710. Never polished. I feel she's held up quite well

Wow. Zero replies. This forum never ceases to amaze me. Maybe people here prefer to keep stickers on and handle their watches with white gloves.

Not sure about all that..... i wear all of mine but am a little careful with them at the same time. A little wrist awareness goes a long way!

Agreed. I take the same approach, but 10 years with an ss watch on my wrist and there’s a few scars to show for it. My yg piece is prestine, but I still wear it often

I haven't owned any of mine, besides my DJII, for 10 years. Guess that one may be a little more beat up since I bought it when I was like 24 and a moron. Pretty sure I would work on cars while I was wearing it and just about anything else!

I took the stickers off my last purchase before leaving the AD. I buy them to wear and for my enjoyment. I posted in another thread a while back about not making a hobby a business. I do agree with npalacio, while yes I wear them on a daily basis I am also mindful that on my wrist is a $12,000 plus watch and I'd rather it not collide with very many other solid or sharp objects on a regular basis.

Hard to get a good shot in this light, but this is a pretty deep and abrasive feeling scratch I got from the concrete bottom of a kid’s pool recently. Bummed me out for a minute. Then I got over it.

I remember years ago on another forum there was a post about someone who was in a motorcycle accident while wearing a 5 digit sub or SD. The dial and crystal were basically gone and the case was brutalized. They then had after shots post RSC service and the watch looked great again.

I started a similar post a few weeks ago with my GMT IIC that is now 2 months shy of 11 years, which I was every day to all activities (gym, sports, shower, etc.). In fact, just this week I wore it hiking and heard a crunch when the bracelet scraped against some rocks.

Not even battle scars...just what was done to the “harder than steel” PVD coat on clasp and bracelet after three weeks of wear. Learned my lesson—never again on coatings

The bezel ding on that DSSD is enough to bring a tear to my eye. Yikes!

Maybe it’s just the angle but it looks like the crown logo on the fliplock has lost some definition. That’s one of my pet peeves about polished watches.

Its the angle and light. They didn’t touch the fliplock. You can see stickers still attached on the other side.

My 2 month old date just
. I write with my left hand so I always grew up wearing my watches on the right wrist. The issue I have found however is my right hand is dominant, so I am more likely to reach and use it for things so my watches can get scraped easier…. Switching to left wrist just feels so weird now though!
