Need help guys! BLNR or HULK
Hey guys, I am new to TRF and I wanted to get your opinions. I purchased my first Rolex and it was fortunate enough to be the BLNR. MY QUESTION IS should I flip for the hulk. I love both watches and both have their own beauty.
Would really appreciate your thoughts on this. j |

Yeah I agree with you! I love the BLNR and purchased it at a great price. The prices have definitely infalated. So I kind of don’t want to flip it due to the fact that it is more valuable now and harder to get.

If you travel a lot, then BLNR. Based on my experience, it is the harder to get. But others can chime in.

As an only Rolex I'd keep the BLNR

Keep BLNR and add Hulk. Completely different watches. Love both! I couldnt choose just one. I now want to add back the SubC I traded to get the Hulk. What I realized is to never trade unless you don't like or use watch anymore. You will be happy at first, but once honeymoon is over you will miss the trade in if you still loved it.

As a former LV owner, I’d still say green Sub!

The Hulk...
The Hulk is so amazing real life, photo's don't do it any justice. What I love is you never seem to run into them. In a world of Black Subs... be bold, be the

You guys are awesome. Didn’t think I’ll be getting a lot of responses. I guess being a member here really does help.
Like I said earlier I love my BLNR it’s very unique to me. My friend told me to flip it since I can make a few dollars and buy the hulk and keep the spare change. But I really think I am going to keep the BLNR and add the LV to my collection. Thanks guys!!! |

i have both. if presented with this question before i owned both, I definitely would have said BLNR. Because BLNR is more versatile, it is blue/black, a perfect combination (much better than red and black!). At first I wasn't a fan of the hulk.
I had the chance to buy one at a dealer so I got it for retail price, i bought it, and never looked back too. at first, I thought the green would be shocking and hard to blend in depending on attire, but for me it is not. the dial is just gorgeous. So if I were you, try everything to keep the blnr and add the LVc. But if you really had to choose one only, I would consider this- do you need GMT function? If yes then keep BLNR it is a no brainer, one of the best if not the best GMT watches out there today. It is simple easy to operate, and yet very easy to tell time with it. |

I agree with what you’re saying. The funny thing is before I knew how popular the BLNR was I just loved it because of how unique it looked. And right beside it was the LVc and in my head I said wow that’s a beauty but not for me. Now I am in love with it and I know would look great with a lot of sportier attire. IMO.
I am a traveler so gmt does come in handy. Hopefully I can find one for retail. Most of the prices I’m seeing are about 10,500 and up. |

I love the blnr like ive mention before. The funny thing is both watched were presented to me and I did not like the LVc to own. The BLNR looked more unique and versatile for my taste. But now I am wanting the LVc and feel like it’ll fit my more sporty attire when I need it. I love the gmt function since I do travel often. I hope I can find the LVc at retail soon!

Add if you can but if you can only have one, I’d pick the BLNR.

I couldn’t choose between these models. I think they are bothering staples of a collection. Is there no way you can add?

I own both, and if your only only one watch, keep the BLNR. But definitely plan for and do add the LV later. Can’t go wrong with owning both.

BLNR imo. It Simply looks better in the flesh.
For me the LVc is too "milky" green. I like it, but prefer the older LV hue. Get what suits you, but try both on and dont buy blind...

I like them both.
If it came to a choice, it would be BLNR as it’s simply gorgeous. |

116610LV without hesitation. The dial + glidelock + brushed bracelet + Submariner goodness + the dial.

It is a tough choice to pick one of those as my only watch. I almost chose the BLNR myself but I'm just not a fan of PCLs. The LVc is beautiful in person but I don't know that it would be my primary and I'm partial to black subs.
I would keep the BLNR and source a jubilee band for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Definitely add hulk. You will most likely regret selling the blnr and even if you do I doubt you will make anything on it assuming you already wore it a few times. You will break even for the most part, so better off just keeping it.

I prefer the Hulk but it is a personal choice that would be difficult. I would keep the BLNR and then save and add the Hulk.

Do not sell the BLNR or you will likely regret it. Both are fantastic watches, and so different. The BLNR is definitely the more versatile watch between the two, and is the perfect travel watch as you know. |
