I'm not usually one for bling or diamond dials etc. but I actually love that reference.

For me, that's not a Rolex.

It IS an exercise in ostentation, but it's not 'my' Rolex.
It's all part of the subversion of a great brand that
I think Jocke was maybe partly alluding to in his thread yesterday.

I'm no film, rap or sports star so it's not intended for me, I understand
that, but, apart from the exalted heights of 21st century, what I might call,
'Early Elton John' taste. These pieces are irrelevant, and an open invitation,
in 'real life' to be woken in the street with a big lump on your head and no
Rolex.

As somebody said earlier, money and 'taste', don't always make
happy bedfellows.

Love them or hate them, Rolex has been making watches like this for decades; pretty much from the start.

I don't care for the piece, but I am glad Rolex will make it. Who said Rolex doesn't respond to the Marky's demand?

He's got all the straight PM models so this is next stage, and as he's a Celtic makes sense.

A gentleman's, jewel encrusted, Rolex timepiece from 1905, I'd be interested to see that.
I appreciate that we're in 2018 and engenderising anything isn't popular,
so, with that in mind, and I'm no watch historian when DID Rolex start making
the, 'Liberace' range.
Not including the tiny watches, probably intended for the small female wrist,
of course.

I have a lot of respect for him and have enjoyed seeing many of the watches he has has worn in public spotting (on tv, award shows etc). Also a fan of diamonds. But not this particular reference, however I do get, and tip my cap, for his the Celtics tribute. To each their own in terms of both sports team allegiances and watches :) IMO at least better than putting it in Red Sox or Patriots colors!!!

Who i respect? Prince harry wearing a explorer 2 polar
This is not about the passion for watches, but just don't know anymore what to do with the money
this is really a ugly piece … and i hate these kind of watches lol
on the other hand, i can understand that some days you might like something blingy, but this is rather a bit anti-social to wear, like a hiphop star or so...

Mark Wahlberg Rolex

Can’t say I’m a fan of the man...

The Watch OTOH is definitely over-the-top, but it is certainly meant to be.

That watch came up in CRM Jewelers video review of his collection.

It’s a $500k watch.

Personally, I wouldn’t want to wear it unless it works wonders with the ladies, which I don‘t expect

I’m a Whalberg fan. He’s a watch guy for sure - has a vast collection — so why not!!!! And — it goes with the Whalburgers colors — and he’s from Boston area...so makes sense to me!!!

He’s also a big wine collector - which is my other hobby.
