Thoughts on this 6202 Turn-O-Graph

I wanted to get everyone's thoughts to better understand the value and rarity of this Rolex Turn-O-Graph 6202 from 1953. Was told it is very unique with the guilt rotor and high jewel count (17).

What are peoples thoughts on this piece? Figured I would turn to the experts at TRF to get some thoughts/opinions.

I have attached some photos.

Very excited about this piece.

One of the best TOGs I’ve ever seen. I love the dial, insert is rare and that movement is gorgeous.

That 6202 looks amazingly clean and correct. The gold gilt style movement is a nice bonus.
Does it have the original brevet + crown as well?

Didn’t the original 6202 have straight hands versus the lollipop hour and seconds hand?

Perhaps the hands were replaced some years later during a service...

Very nice gilt movement - I hadn’t seen one like that so that’s nice. I can’t tell from the pictures but it should say 2 Rubies. Does it have that inscribed on the plate?

Tommy Taylor (R.W.T.) will be very pleased to see this, as he is a TOG fan, and the gilt movement will excite him! I was previously cynical of the all-gilt movements, but Tommy persuaded me to change my point of view!

The dial and hands look lovely, one of my own 6202 TOGs is also fitted with Mercedes hands (the other has the pencil hands).

You will see both types of hands depending on manufacture. I like the large bubble second better than the small bubble second (always considered these replacement). The pencil hands are rare, they were so fragile especially the dot end second hand. Lovely watch.
