Bingo. That's why I wear the cheapies every day and the good ones when I ride the motorcycle. That's when I need the most eye protection.

Look at those glasses, they are the ugliest things I've ever seen. Do you get a free bowl of soup when you buy them?

Oh, but Al... they look good on you.

Name the movie that quote was paraphrased from and the actor who said it.

It was Rodney Dangerfield as Al Czervik in Caddyshack.

His quote from the movie was :
"Oh, this is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh?"
[looks at Judge Smails, who's wearing the same hat]
"Oh, it looks good on you though."

Thank you very much, Johnny. Right back at ya!

You might like to know that the Murray brothers own a restaurant (Called "Caddy Shack" - of all things!) in the World Golf Village (about 15 miles from me in my county). I'm sure Mark has been there. My wife has, but I have not.

Murray Brothers Open Flagship Restaurant At World Golf Village
Murray Bros. Caddyshack Encourages Guests to "Eat, Drink And Be Murray"
St. Augustine, Fla.

A five-year dream finally became a reality June 7, 2001, when comedian Bill Murray and his five brothers - actors Brian, Joel, John and businessmen Andy and Ed - opened the first Murray Bros. Caddyshack at World Golf Village. Designed to look and feel like a country club gone awry, the restaurant combines the brothers' sense of irreverence with their love of golf.

Long-time chef and restaurateur, Andy Murray is credited for the restaurant concept. The name, Murray Bros. Caddyshack, stems back to the brothers' teenage years, when all of them worked as caddies and in several other golf-related jobs to pay their way through school. Thai experience inspired brother Brian (who wrote for Saturday Night Live) to co-write the movie Caddyshack, which brother Bill describes as "the gripping tale of the Murray brothers' first experiments with employment." As co-founder and co-chairman, Andy is intimately involved with the restaurant's operations, while his brothers, all partners, make appearances as well as offering their wit and experience as consultants.

With more than 8,000 square feet of dining space, the flagship restaurant includes the Bunker Bar, with two, 150-inch quad television screens plus additional TVs to cover multiple sporting events and the Looper's Lounge, which doubles as a game room - with another wide screen TV, two billiard tables and video games - and an area to accommodate large groups. The Shed sells Murray Bros. Caddyshack merchandise such as t-shirts, hats, glasses, golf attire and miscellaneous golf gadgets. While there is a wall displaying pictures and a script from the movie Caddyshack and diners might spot random gophers, the decor and memorabilia of Murray Bros. Caddyshack focus on the brothers, the sport of caddying and the classic Murray trait - humor. Lawn mowers, rakes, pails and kegs all have a place in the restaurant and sight gags abound. As Andy explains, "I've always loved working in restaurants. They're full of action and fun. It's like an extension of my living room. It's a place I can entertain friends and family."

Designed to reflect the Murray's midwest upbringing, the restaurant's menu includes Sheboigan bratwurst, Chicago hot dogs and Italian beef in addition to salads, pasta, seafood and barbeque. Murray Bros. Caddyshack is open seven days a week, serving lunch and dinner.
Andy and the Murray Bros. caddyshack management team - Mac Haskell, co-founder and co-chairman, Robert Brown, chief executive officer, Jeff Trent, director of operations, and Ricky Gibson, director of food and beverage - are keen to set this eatery apart from other celebrity-driven, theme restaurants such as Hard Rock Cafe' and Planet Hollywood by emphasizing quality food and service to attract repeat business from the local market as well as tourists. "You can't eat what's hanging on the wall," says Brown.
