Congrats on the Submariner! I bought the 114060 last year but not having the date feature bothered me and I got tired of the Sub...it’s a classic no doubt but a bit too boring for me.

Congrats, similar story for me, went to the AD to buy a Sub Date. I tried on the Sub C for fun, and left with it. Surprised myself but very happy.

At first I was pretty upset for a second considering I drove a bit to get there, but the more I thought about it the Sub looked even more beautiful to me without the cyclops.

For reference, I owned a Sub Date for 8 years and was buying another to replace it.

After sitting around for about 15 minutes thinking of what I was going to do, I decided on taking the Sub.

I love it. Its a much cleaner look IMO. I know everyone has a preference but I never really used the date function on my watch and it was a pain to always have to adjust it between AM/PM. Also saved myself $1,000.

Overall happy with my purchase and the mistake was meant to be
You definitely made the right choice......enjoy!!!!!

Too bad it wasn’t a Daytona!

I love my Sub! Most of my watches have a date, so happy not to futz with the date. This is the quintessential diver’s watch. Every collector/ enthusiast should have one. I would not return the one with the date, either.

I was in the same position... But I had the DATE and the NO DATE in my hand... As I was replacing a Sea Dweller I went with the NO DATE... I love the clean look... Been a few years and I never looked back, if I need the date I will look at my phone.

Wear it in good health, Be Safe JIM

I have a no-date 4 liner sub since Rolex first produced them back in 2005(?). Previously I had a sub date but the word is 'had'. My 14060M COSC no-date is absolutely superb. Time keeping is spot on, still water resistant and looks great. No reason to change.

I think you made a wise decision.

I'm a fan of the Submariners, myself.

Congrats!

It's great to be able to pick up a watch, wind and wear with only having to set the time. If not for my Daytonas, I'd own Subs to compliment my Sub Dates. Great thing buying the ND is that you can now add a SD43 or a Hulk and still feel like you're getting a "different" watch

Huge congrats on your new watch. It's simply and officially known as the Submariner, historically the model started without a date feature. The dial is so casual, balanced and pure without it. Enjoy it in the best of health.

The date is an amazing feature and also still keeps the simplicity of the wach
