Future value...both watches are toast IMO. I'd pick the Day Date over the Oysterflex Daytona.

The OF Daytona weighs 185g, hardly a light watch. It weighs noticeably more than a GMT or Sub.

I find everyone’s hang up on the OF’s price point peculiar. It’s not like you’re getting $38k worth of gold on a full gold Rolex. Not even close, the bracelet is probably worth $5k max in scrap value.

Rather than focusing on price or future value, focus on the watch you love most so you’ll never have to worry about selling it.

I personally find the 116519LN to be one of the most beautiful and potentially iconic (modern 6263 big red anyone?) Daytonas ever made. That’s why I bought it at list and don’t doubt my decision for a second.

Agreed 100%. OF Daytona is one of the coolest models in the current collection IMO.
